The Chairman of Imo State Traditional Institution, Eze EC Okeke has called on the traditional rulers in the state to be good Ambassadors of their respective Communities and the Government of Imo State to justify the confidence reposed in them.
According to the revered royal father and Leader of Imo monarchs, the
expectations are high from stakeholders that traditional rulers will continue to serve the interest of their and as well provide a bridge between them and the government.
Eze Okeke made the assertion Penultimate Saturday when the traditional ruler of Umuezenachi–Ihioma pay him a visit at Ezeimo Palace Mbari.He Congratulated Eze Ukpaka on his emergence as the new traditional ruler of Umuezenachi Autonomous Community and his recent recognition and successful handover of staff of office by the Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma in Government House Owerri.He prayed God to grant him a peaceful and successful reign.
Earlier in his remark, Eze Livinus Ukpaka thanked the Ezeimo the way he has been piloting the affairs of the state traditional Institution, especially the successful coordination of the recent outing at Government House Owerri where fifty one new traditional rulers were recognized and handed staff of office by the Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma. He pledged to offer his people a God fearing leadership and sustain loyalty and support for the state government under the able leadership of Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma
