The President of a non governmental organization under the umbrella of Oneness Foundation United States & Nigeria, Lady Ijeoma Edithmary Price has scored Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma high for his achievements after one year in office.
She however called on Governor Uzodimma and his colleague Governors in the South East to make the hare while sun shine, advising them to take the issue of vulnerable section of the society seriously.
She said those on the streets can easily be recruited into deadly crimes, which will later hurt the society at large.
She also hailed him for the appointment of those with competence to man critical sectors of the State.
President Price expressed her goodwill through the Communication Director of Oneness Foundation, Nigeria, Uche Onwuchekwa.
President Price particularly endorsed the appointment of Chief Charles Orie as the Managing Director of Imo State Oil Producing Areas Commission (ISOPADEC), Hon. Doris Ann Akubuo in Tourism & Hotel Management and Dr. Jones Uzoka, Special Adviser on Agriculture to the Governor of Imo State respectively.
The statement reads:
“The President of Oneness Foundation United States of America & Nigeria, Lady Ijeoma Edithmary Price heartily Commends Distinguished Senator Hope Odidika Uzodimma, the Governor of Imo State on his one year in Office.
“She particularly wishes to extend her commendation to the Governor on the appointment of Chief Charles Orie, Hon. Doris Ann Akubuo and Dr. Jones Uzoka.
She is confident that the three among others in other sectors will be productive in their respective portfolios.
Price also wishes to encourage them to ensure that they help the Governor succeeds in engendering meaningful Development in their various sectors that will trickle down to the people and improve their living standard.
Meanwhile she hopes that the Foundation will collaborate with 3R Government to reach out to the homeless, vulnerable women, Children and the aged.
He Decries the security breaches ravaging the States and Nigeria at large, which she attributed to neglect to the homeless and the vulnerable.
She warns that if nothing is done fast to salvage the situation, it could breed elements that may cause serious challenges to the society, which it’s management may come at a huge cost.
