A prominent political leader and stalwart of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Imo State and Chinechendo of Orsu, Major Jude Alajemba has described the executive Governor of the State, Senator Hope Uzodimma as accomplished leader and Administrator who has diligently shown capacity in governance by working so hard to redefine it’s scope and application through transparency and quality service delivery.
According to the Orsu –Ihiteukwa- born business mogul turned politician, the Governor has shown leadership and foresight considering his genuine intentions not only to transform the state through quality delivery of social amenities and physical infrastructure like roads and portable water supply but also sticking religiously to full implementation and actualization of his Campaign promises as encapsulated in the 3R Shared Prosperity mantra of Recovery, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction.
Chief Alajemba made the declaration penultimate Sunday while fielding questions to newsmen in Owerri, Imo State Capital.
Reaction to the successful hosting of a mega Inter Denominational thanksgiving service at Dan Anyiam Stadium Owerri in commemoration of Senator Uzodinma’s eventful one year in office as executive governor of Imo State.
He reiterated that the Governor has performed beyond expectations of naysayers and also drawn national and global attention to Imo state because of his massive delivery of quality road infrastructure, improved health care services, regular payment of salary and pensions, quality education and various deliberate measures taken to eradicate poverty through empowerment of the vulnerable people, especially women and youths with Entrepreneural skills Acquisition programs.
Speaking further, Chief Alajemba congratulated Distinguished Senator Uzodimma for restoring the lost Glory of Imo State and entire Southeast geopolitical zones whose presence is gradually beginning to be felt in Nigeria, having quietly deployed contacts and dexterity to reconnect Ndigbo to national political grid. He observed that the virtual emptying of the entire Nigerian political and economic establishment into Owerri for his One year in Office celebration speaks volumes of his acceptability across Nigeria.
He noted that especially for pulling the likes of the Vice President of the Federation, Senate President, Principal officers of the National Assembly, Governors, top leaders of the ruling APC and other notable power brokers in Nigeria to be present at the event is a great feat.
According to Chief Alajemba ,the fact that Imo State Governor has become the toast of everyone that matters in Nigeria through which the sobriquet of ‘Hope for Nigeria ‘is gaining currency shows that the Governor has become a gateway and clearing house of the emerging new political order in the Southeast for the Nigerian political establishment.
He commended the Governor for his foresight in taking the right steps at the right time and urged the good people of the State and entire Ndigbo of Southeast Nigeria to rally round him as the undisputed political leader of the igbo through whom the long sought promised land will be actualized.
