As part of concerted efforts to take the 3R Agenda of his administration to the grassroots, Imo State Government has concluded plans to embark on sensitization exercise in the 27 local government areas of the state.
The Special Adviser to Governor Hope Uzodinma, S.A, Political, Chief Bathos Nwadike disclosed this Thursday, while briefing newsmen in his office
Chief Bathos said the COVID-19 pandemic was responsible for stalling the governor’s plan to reach the people at the grassroots.
The special adviser revealed that Governor Uzodinma has given approval for the commencement of the sensitization exercise in respect of its 3R Agenda of Recover, Reconstruction and Reconciliation, adding that plans were equally in the works to inaugurate prosperity ambassadors in all the local government areas of the state.
Continuing, Bathos hinted that the political Bureau would also commence what he called the Prosperity Tour, which is expected to run from March 9 to March 27, saying that the exercise would be given the necessary publicity at the grassroots in order to reach the wards, chapters and booths.
He said the idea was to acquaint Imo people with the policies and programmes of the Uzodinma administration even as Okigwe Zone has been designated for the take-off of the event.
