The All Progressive Congress, APC in Imo State has made a big catch, as a frontline businessman and philanthropist from Prince Alex Mbata Ngwoma, Obube in owerri North L.G.A, on Wednesday, formally registered as a member of the party.
Prince Mbata an accomplished administrator, who used the opportunity of the ongoing APC membership registration and revalidation exercise to register in his Obube, Agbala, Ulakwo (O.A.U) Ward, hinted that it was the first time he would be publicly declaring support for any political party.
Prince Mbata said: “today marks the beginning of journey towards greatness. I decided to join this great and purposeful political party because I am convinced that APC is the vehicle that will take our state and country to the promised land and ensure equitable dispensation of dividends of democracy.
“I also joined APC to fulfill the promise I made to our governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, who has so far performed creditably”.
The illustrious son of Ngwoma, Obube, appealed to the people of Owerri North L.G.A and Imo State in general, to support the programmes and policies of the state government and avail themselves of the ongoing membership registration and revalidation exercise to register with the APC that has from all indications, shown commitment to take the country to the next level of infrastructural and socio-economic development.
