New Teachers: Gives us back our job, 10,000 job beneficiaries beg Ihedioha

Following the on-going recruitment of teachers and other categories of civil servants by the Imo State Government of Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, beneficiaries of the suspended 10,000 jobs between 2010 and 2011 have written to the state government protesting the current recruitment and describing it as an attempt to fill their positions.
In a letter addressed to Governor Ihedioha through their counsel Barr. Wisdom Durueke made available to Nigeria Newspoint, the 10,000-jobs beneficiaries who recalled the process that brought them into the civil service in 2010 through the State Civil Service Commission and how the immediate past governor, Rochas Okorocha suspended them in 2011.
The beneficiaries equally recalled the support they gave the Governor Ihedioha in 2015 when he first ran for the plum job against Okorocha, which led to the gruesome murder of their then leader, late Dr. Ugonna Omereonye in his Akata, Oru East community on the eve of 2015 governorship election.
Continuing, the 10,000-jobs employees disclosed that the election of Governor Ihedioha was to them, a dream come true and a clear chance of regaining their civil service positions.
The group who further revealed how their concerted efforts to have audience with the governor on several occasions failed, made it clear that they “are genuinely worried by the said advertorials calling for applications to fill the various positions previously occupied by some of them”.
While re-affirming their implicit confidence in Governor Ihedioha’s ability to right the injustice meted on them, the beneficiaries noted that they never relented in contributing their quota to the birth of the present administration of Governor Ihedioha.
