Gangsters, impostors invade Ogun NUJ

The news of the take over and composition of a Caretaker Committee for the Federated Chapel of Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ogun State Council by a small fraction of its membership is laughable and barbaric with a resemblance of a soap opera by the dramatists or comedians.
This was contained in a statement released today in Abeokuta, Ogun state by the Comrade Adeniyi Adeloye led Executive of the Federated Chapel, Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ogun State Council.
The release described the purported take over as fallacious on the grounds that the illegal assembly did not understand or follow the dictates of the constitution of the union, but only acted at the behest of the gang leader described as dying to perpetuate himself at the helms of affairs of the union, having ruled for about 12 years without a tangible achievements.
They said it was unbelievable that Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) regarded composed of respected and highly cerebral professionals seemed infiltrated by gangsters, brigands whose lives are miserable without some stipends from the union.
The group described as lazy and brainless with the infamous attitude were bent on defaming the union and rubbish the history and efforts of its founding fathers and frontrunners who had worked assiduously to keep its ideology and vision apace.
“It is unthinkable and unbelievably marveling that a group could constitute themselves into laws and order with the machinations of a loosing, shameless, visionless, block brains and base born whose DNA is crust in lies telling, baseless and fictitious petition writing”.
“Their latest steps are evident that they have resolved to tear the union apart, embarrass and derisive the state and national leadership of the union who they have always claimed have their ears, and in support of their actions and criminal activities”.
They said they were not rattled by their deceitful and satanic mindset, because they were convinced the leadership of the union meant well for all members, chapels and councils, hence would not be swayed by their barrage of lies and antics, but do the needful
“It is a crying shame the years spent by the masterminds of this evil machination, as the chairman of the council defaced, Iwe Irohin and turned the “Cradle of Journalism” in Nigeria to a mere drinking spot and haven for the sex traders popularly known as “Olosho”
The executive of the chapel charged members of chapel to remain unperturbed by their jeers and cant, because their actions and activities were illegal, barbaric and criminal, and would be constitutionally handled.
“The leadership of the chapel, in consultation with the national Headquarters of the union would employ all civilised methodologies, armed with the constitution of the union to dislodge these impostors who are currently parading themselves as leaders of the chapel”.
They urge all members of the chapel to remain calm and unshaken and go about their responsibilities without any fear of intimidation. “We want to assure you everything is under control”, they added.
The Executive stressed, “As mature and resourceful people, we would not join issues with the power drunk crazy gang leaders who vandalized the fabric of the union, have led the union to the sorry state it is today”
