Anumudu has sacrificed for Imo than any politician – Nwanyanwu …I’ve empowered over seventy thousand – Humphrey

In a show of strength, the Zenith Labour governorship candidate Barr. Humphrey Anumudu flagged off his campaign at Kanu Nwankwo Sports Complex, Owerri.
The colourful and well attended event commenced with a road show from Obilubi, Obazu Mbieri the home town of the governorship hopeful to some major roads in Owerri, the state capital.
Addressing the huge crowd, the National chairman of ZLP Barr. Dan Nwanyanwu charged Imo electorate to vote massively for Barr. Anumudu whom he described as the best for Imo governorship. Barr. Nwanyanwu recalled how the party opted to give Anumudu its ticket because of his impeccable character, he also reminded Orlu zone to remember the kind sacrifices of Anumudu in 1999 that made it possible for Orlu zone to produce its first governor and reciprocate the gesture by voting en masse for Anumudu to become governor in the upcoming governorship election. He argued that Barr. Anumudu has sacrifice for Imo development and stability more than any other politician in the state. He assured Imo people that the ZLP/Anumudu government will work for Imo people and recover all that has been stolen from the state.
In his speech, the Director General of National Democratic Mandate Group NMDG, Hon. Isaac Ude a group promoting Anumudu bid, urged its members across the state to work hard for the victory of Anumudu. Hon. Ude told the long cheering crowd that NMDG adopted Anumudu after careful study of his manifesto and antecedents. He said Anumudu is a very clean man and shall govern the state well, Hon. Ude called on Imo people to respect the turn of Owerri zone to produce the next governor and submitted that Anumudu is the best among all other candidates.
The State Acting Chairman of ZLP, Hon. Pascal Ogu enjoined Imolites to vote for Anumudu to recover and reconstruct Imo State. He promised that the ZLP/Anumudu government will be youth friendly and work for Imo people.
The elated governorship hopeful, Barr. Anumudu in his speech, called on Imo people to vote for him. He vowed to recover all stolen Imo properties. Barr. Anumudu unveiled his seven point manifesto predicated on qualitative free education, massive industrialization, prompt payment of workers salaries, pension and gratuities, agricultural revolution, human capital development re-orientation and quality infrastructural development. He assured Imo people that his administration shall create massive employments through industrialization and agriculture, promising to build at least one industry in every LGA in the state. He said as a private citizen, his foundation has empowered over seventy thousand Imo people and shall when he assumes office establish a loan scheme to empower millions of Imo people.
Barr. Anumudu promised to provide job for every Imo youth. On workers and pensioners, Anumudu said it is the highest level of wickedness for any governor to owe them, he promised to pay workers/pensioners as at when due and beckoned on Imo electorate to vote massively for him.
The highlight of the occasion was the presentation of flag to all Zenith Labour Party candidates by the National chairman of the party.
