Governorship Candidate of Action Peoples Party APP Imo state Sir Bruno Oparaocha has given a nod to the restructuring plan of the former Vice President of Nigeria and the Presidential flag bearer of the peoples Democratic Party for the 2019. Presidential election Atiku abubakar.
Sir Bruno threw his weight behind the PDPs Presidential Candidate during his governorship campaign tour at Iho, headquarters of Ikeduru Local government Area of the state.
He described Atiku as a detrabilized Nigerian who is ready to take the country out of the woods of her economic woes: adding that the Party adopted Atiku Abubakar as our Presidential Candidate and are given him our full support because he is a detrabilized Nigerian who relates freely and friendly with people fromall the tribes in Nigeria,
Atiku has the best plan for Nigeria, read through his manifesto and you will agree with me that he deserves to lead the country out of its current economic quagmire. The restructuring agenda which entails that regions in the country should develop asymmetrically with their production “is a well thought out plan and the best for us because it will estinguish tribal sentiments,let us vote in Atiku in the February Presidential election, he is not a bigot, he means well for nigerians “he stated.
Sir Bruno, a courier expert reiterated his resolve to salvage Imo from the doldrums if voted as the next governor of the state in the forth coming election.
The Ulakwo born politician maintained that he is going to open up business space for women and youths in the state and would use his contact as an international business magnate to get some foreign companies to employ our youths in countries where those companies operate and also make them establish in the state .
He decried the poor treatment meted to pensioners in the state and promised that under his watch as governor of the sate an electronic template will be designed to pay pensioners as and at when due and without discomfort to them.
Sir Bruno called on the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC to be independent in conducting the 2019 elections as their name implies in order to allow Nigerians the liberty to elect their leaders in various positions while admonishing the youth to shun violence and thuggery during the polls.
