Dr Linus Okorie is God-sent to correct the myriads of problems being faced by the people of Imo State – very high degree of unemployment resulting from the mass sack of civil servants by the APC Government of Rochas Okorocha and no real established employment exercise into the civil service since the inception of this administration, nearly eight years ago; very high level of kidnapping, abductions, killings for money, rituals, loss of businesses resulting from the wanton destruction of long established markets and business places both in Urban and rural areas of Imo State by the APC Government of Rochas Okorocha, the nonpayment of duly earned pensions of retired workers of Imo State in the civil and public services; the heartless payment of half, sometimes quarter salaries to workers of Imo State in spite of the receipt of first, second and third Bailout funds and other enormous funds collected by the Imo State Government, the complete destruction of the Imo State Civil/Public Service system and the entire structure of government and governance in the state. The alleged annihilation of the Land tenure system in Imo State and alleged self appropriation of nearly 90 % of all the lands in Owerri Municipal and Owerri West and North including other LGAs to self and family, the alleged impunity, very high level of administrative recklessness and utter disregard and disrespect for the Rule of Law, etc. These are just a few of what Dr Linus Okorie of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) has lined up for himself to correct in his first 100 days in office as the Executive Gov of Imo State if elected. In fact, Dr Linus Okorie has taken a vow to quickly wipe out the tears of IMO PEOPLE, young, old, male, female and children.
It is needless to talk about the very descent family background of this young and examplary 44 year old Egbuoma lad, his impeccable academic history – primary, secondary, and university or post graduate degrees. His leadership coaching career which has long gone into the international realms, spanning through the US., UK., France, Germany and other countries of the world. All these are in the public the domain and need no explanations. There is no question of “tumbo-tumbo” about this as it is the case in the upper echelons of today’s Government in Imo State and more than 90% of those now jostling for power in the other parties.
Imo State cannot afford to make any more mistakes in the selection of their governor this time around. We are living witnesses to the alleged wanton plundering of the commonwealth of the people of IMO State in the last nearly eight years, which has also been confirmed by no less a personality than the National Chairman of APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomole.
Let us now be more thorough, painstaking, detailed and leave no stones unturned in getting to know all the candidates that have lined up to govern Imo State. Let us find out right from their villages, there kindreds, their growing up, who they really are; conduct a kind of operation “option A4” on these candidates.
No person with any dents or tint of 419, chequered history academically and otherwise, should be allowed to govern Imo State again.
This past nearly eight years of absurdities in the name of governance or government is almost like eternity to Imolites.
I wonder if we can survive any such rule again.
Statistics have shown that more people have died in Imo State in the past seven and half than they did in 20 years before the advent of the current regime in Imo State.
Once beaten, twice shy.

Let’s go for a descent man, let’s go for a man with the positives, let’s go YPP!!!
