The Imo state Civil Guard Commandant has promoted six of his officers,who are stationed at the Imo State Microfinance Bank Owrri. The promotion came as a reward for excellence and dedication to service by the deserving officers.
The excise which took place at the cooperate office of the bank in Owerri,was witnessed by the Managing Director of the bank,Mr Curtis Obilonu
In his speech, the Civil Guard Commandant, Hon. Donatus Ezifugha, noted that he decided to promote the officers in order to encourage them to do more service. adding that the officers have shown to be experts and professionals while watching over the banks. He pointed out that there is no security lapses and threat at the bank and stressed that his officers are men of proven character and integrity’
He enjoined the promoted officers to continue their good work and ensure they uphold the sanctity of the job. In his reaction, the Managing Director of the bank,Mr Curtis Obilonu, commended the Civil Guard Commandant for carrying out what he described as a noble and worthy venture.adding that the bank would continue to support the officers in carrying out their functions effrctively.He described the promoted officers as men of goodwill who have served the bank selflessly and further thanked Governor Rochas Okorocha for establishing the Imo Microfinance bank.
Speaking unbehalf of other officers, Mr Okorondu Victor who was promoted to the rank of Assistant superintendent of Guard 1, thanked their commandant for selecting them from the crowd to honour them and pledged to render more hardworking service to the bank and their command.
Those promoted to the rank of inspector include, Mr Anorou Chijioke, Mr Opara Vincent, Mr Opara Ifeanyiand Mr Nwaiwu Vitalis while Mr Ezenwa Hyginus and Okorondu Victor were promoted to the rank of Assistant Supritendent 1 and 2,respectively.
