Bishop (Mrs.) Francisca Ihuoma Ezeugo is the General Overseer of Overcomers Christian Mission worldwide, with international headquarters at No. 1, Archbishop Ezeugo Ekewuba Road, Atadinma Northern Extension layout, Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria.
Bishop Francisca or Mummy as she is fondly called is the first child of Mr. and Mrs. Sebastine Amaechi of Ndiokwu Iho in Ikeduru local government area of Imo State.
She gave her life to Christ at a very tender age in the 1970s under Holiness Evangelistic Church. This was at a time when the faith of believers was tested in the furnace of persecutions and trials. She persevered under the close watch of her pastor at that time, Pastor Christian Ogu.
The woman of God attended Iho community primary school where she obtained her first school leaving Certificate (FSLC) in 1978
She also passed her Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) before proceeding to Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education Owerri for National certificate in Education (NCE). Thereafter, Bishop (Mrs.) Ezeugo obtained her Bachelor of Theology degree and Master of Arts degree in Education Guidance and Counseling from the same institution.
Before this time this handmaid of the Lord had ran other programmes to deepen her theological knowledge. These include Holiness Divinity College Owerri and the popular Calvary College of Theology (CCT) Igirinta, Rivers State which she attended with her husband.
She worked as a Librarian at the Wesley International Bible Institute Owerri before establishing Bright Kids Nursery/Primary School Owerri.
Bishop (Mrs.) Francisca Ihuoma Ezeugo is not a new comer in the Vineyard of the Lord. Like her late husband, Archbishop Alexander Ezeugo Ekewuba who founded Overcomers1 Christian Mission, she is a fearless preacher of the gospel of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ. This is not surprising because she passed through afflictions, persecutions, hardship and even rejection in the Vineyard of the Lord together with her husband. Today, Bishop Francisca Ezeugo can stand boldly on any platform to testify that the Lord is good and faithful.
She was among the first set of pastors in Overcomers’ Christian to be ordained reverend ministers. That was in 1998. Bishop Francisca Ezeugo accompanied her husband to most of his family and community deliverance prayers around the country. These include the banishment of the widely publicized “Alaogbaga Spirit in chokoneze Mbaise, Into State.
As a visionary leader, she founded the “Great women for Christ” fellowship with
leading female gospel preachers as members,
She is a good manager of men and resources and an accomplished marriage
Counselor.
She was consecrated a bishop of the Christian church in Christ by the international
fellowship of Pentecostal clerics in 2010. Following the passing unto glory in
February this year, of the founding father of Overcomers Christian Mission,
Archbishop Alexander Ezeugo Ekewuba, the mantle of leadership fell on her. She
has pledged to carry on with the vision and mission of Archbishop Ezeugo, even
with greater vigor.
Her inauguration as the new General Overseer by such a globally acclaimed gospel preacher, Rev. (Dr.) Uma Ukpai, the 23rd of December 2018 is an ecclesiastic event that both the heaven of heavens and the earth will say Amen!
