…Says Imo State deserves the best
The Action People Party(APP} Governorship candidate for the 2019 elections in Imo State Sir Bruno Chidiebere Oparaocha has enjoined the officials of the Independent National electoral Commission (INEC) on the need to conduct a free and fair general election that must be devoid of any form of manipulations, violence and irregularities that usually characterized previous national elections.
Widely travelled and globally experienced business moguid Sir Oparaocha, who boasted that APP offers the best options stated that what Imo State needs in 2019 is a replication of what happened in 2011, when the people took their destiny into their own hands and ensured that the evil machinations of all the forces of darkness as represented by those who wanted to frustrate the will of the majority, was thwarted. He therefore tasked INEC, especially the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), in the state to ensure a level playing ground to enable the best candidate to emerge as the executive Governor of Imo State. The Ulakwo born, international businessman made this known in an exclusive chat with news point Newspaper correspondent yesterday in Owerri, as his contribution towards achieving and institutionalizing the much desired credible. free and fair 2019 general elections which every Imolite is desperately yearning for. Toward^athieviri^jthis elusive objective, Sir Bruno Chidiebere Oparaocha callecf on the law enforcement agencies to steer clear of partisan politics or anything that could compromise their already soiled reputation and image further. Sir Oparaocha whose manifesto has education and economy diversification through massive agricultural production security as priorities, promised to engage the youths effectively if elected. He hopes to do this, by taking them out of the streets where they presently constitute nuisances as urchins, drug addicts, cultists, miscreants and political thugs to the farm lands, with the reintroduction of the agricultural extension services and farm settlements. He regretted that our educational system faces total collapse should the government at the centre renege in the responsibility to immediately arrest the drift and address the abnormalities as been experienced by a segment of Imo studentship unlike what obtains presently where only a handful of those who secured admission at IMSU and IMOPOLY are the ones enjoying the purported and equally discredited policy. On the teeming population of unemployed graduates in Imo State,Sir Oparaocha promised among other things to resuscitate all moribund industries while at the same time providing the conducive atmosphere to attract foreign direct and local investments. He promised also to streamline the conduct of government affairs, ensure regular payment of salaries of civil servants and pensioners respectively and to run an all inclusive, prudent and transparently accountable administration where stake holders will participate effectively in policy formulation, annual budgeting and project implementation.
According to Him, “Never again would the instrument of power, authority and wealth be concentrated in one family more so with the victory of an APR government of Sir Chidiebere Oparaocha”
