The House of Assembly candidate of Freedom and Justice Party FJP for Owerri West State constituency, Imo State, Comrade Asagwara Caleb has vowed to return effective representation to the people of Owerri West if elected into the state Assembly by 2019.
Speaking exclusively to our correspondent in Owerri weekend, Comrade Asagwara said in line with the “not too young to run” bill which has became accepted in Nigeria, his vision will be easily accepted by his people since according to him, his constituency is yearning for a younger blood to lead.
He noted that as a grassroot person, his aspiration has already put jittery into the camp of every other contestant to the post adding that his victory assurance is guaranteed.
Comrade Asagwara who was former President of Owerri West Students Association appealed to his people especially those in the rural areas to vote wisely during the election and never to allow vote buying to occur in the boots. He assured that the days of money bag politics is over in Nigeria and the youths who have what it takes to give effective and people oriented representation will soon take over.
