Col Austin Akobundu retired, who is the national of the Peoples Democratic Party, has declared that South East zone is a no go area for the All Progressive Congress (APC ) in 2019 general election, saying that Atiku and Obi ticket is going to take PDP to victory in 2019 general election.
He maintained that Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Mr Peter Obi emergence will be generally accepted across the country ,urging the Nigerians to get ready to vote out the present APC led – government which has brought hardship to Nigerians and vote in prosperity.
Akobundu, who made this known during the priestly silver jubilee celebration of Very Rev.Father ,Prof.Mike UKah at Micheal okpara university of Agriculture Umudike ,noted that preparations are on -going by his party to take over the leadership of this country , calling on Nigerians to prepare by obtaining their PVCs and get ready to use them.
He described the celebrant as an excellent man, a good man of God and inspirational leader ,who God has been using mightily.
Speaking at the event, the deputy vice chancellor of Micheal Okpara university ,Prof.Maduebibisi Iwe , applauded the celebrant for making an impact and setting a pace for the younger priests, urging those who want to be like him to be ready to pay the price .
Addressing the pressmen, the celebrant , Rev.Prof.Mike UKah, thanked the Bishop for ordaining him priest, noting that his journey into priesthood started from his child hood days in his village when he saw the visiting Reverend sisters and fathers on white as angels and wished to be like them. UKah, said it has been his motive to be like God, saying he deem it necessary to thank God for his grace and for seeing him through so far, adding that God has been his secret of success. Earlier , the deputy governor of Abia state, Rt.Hon.Ude .Okochukwu, who represented the governor at the event, commended Rev. father UKah for allowing God to use him to bring souls to God.
Hon.Okochukwu ,who unveiled the two books written by the celebrant, lauded him for creating time out of his pastoral work to write books ,saying people put in time and years to write books for the purpose of transmitting and storing knowledge.
So many people were present at the event, including Rev fathers, friends, well wishers and some journalist’s.
