The senatorial aspirant for Owerri zone on the platform of APGA in the forthcoming election, Chief Mike Nwachukwu, has promised to cause a stir if elected by his people by offering unrivalled representation never experienced in the history of the zone.
Chief Mike Mwachukwu who stated this during the last leg of Ikeduru local government ward tour, said he will push vigorously to attract the rehabilitation and constructions of network of roads within his first 3 years.
The last lap of the ward tour in the local government included Ama-Imo, Avuvu and Ukwu-Ugirike –Ezima. Others are Iyishi-Umudim, Ngogu Ikembara and Owu Amakohia wards.
While addressing the crowd made up of ward chairmen, secretaries and other members of the executive, Nwachukwu maintained that he is a true APGA and will remain with the party after winning election unlike those who came to grab the ticket, probably win election and dash to their original party.
The senatorial aspirant informed them that he did not come to campaign but to know them personally and assure them of effective representation, if given the mandate especially in the forth coming primary election of the party.
Chief Nwachukwu told the ward executives and other members of APGA family that he will ensure Owerri zone witness unprecedented infrastructural development once he is given the mandate. He explained that the experiences he has garnered in his different life endeavor will be deployed to attract the attention of relevant agencies, ministries and development agencies to improve the lots of the people of the zone.
He decried the rate erosion has ravaged most locations in Owerri zone and wondered what the past representatives of the zones were doing in the Senate.
The Director General of his Campaign organization, Mr Bide Oduoza and other members of the team accompanied him during the tour.
