Top contender for the governorship ticket of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, against the 2019 general elections. Mr. Frank Nneji has concluded his tour of the 27 LGAs of the state in grand style with the ceremony marking its conclusion turning out to be harvest of activities as several party leaders and aspirants under the platform of APGA graced the event.
Speaking during the ceremony marking the conclusion of the state tours last Saturday at Enyiogugu, the Aboh Mbaise born governorship hopeful and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Associated Bus Company Ltd (ABC), Mr. Frank Nneji expressed his joy at the success of the tours.
He informed his audience of his desire to transform Imo State into a model state, adding that he would deploy his wealth of know ledge and experience as a successful business man into the governance of the state.
Mr. Nneji said Imo state needed a technocrat like himself who could improve the standard of life of the people, having proved it by building his company from nothing to a great height.
The APGA Chieftain expressed his confidence in the Sir Peter Ezeobi-led state working committee and their commitment to produce candidates through free, fair and credible primary elections.
Furthermore, Mr. Nneji stressed his commitment to conduct LGA polls within 6 months of assumption as governor of the state and to work closely with the APGA structure at all levels.
Also speaking at the event, the Aboh Mbaise LGA APGA chairman, Hon. Emma Nneji informed that Mr. Frank Nneji was good enough for the governorship position of Imo State, stating that the success story of ABC Transport Company meant that if given the opportunity to govern the state he would replicate same.
He re-emphasized the commitment of the party to offer all aspirants at all levels a level playing ground and that APGA had no preferred candidate.
Hon. Nneji expressed his joy that all people of Aboh Mbaise LGA had endorsed APGA for 2019 election and that the entire people of the state had come to the conclusion that after PDP and APC had failed them, there was no doubt that their hope and prayer could only be answered by APGA taking over the state.
Several aspirants at all levels attended the event with many Aboh Mbaise leaders present attesting to the intellectual capability of Mr. Frank Nneji as well as his integrity.
The aspirants present include Dr. Stanley Emegwara, Chief Jude Akalezi, Hon. Steve Obasi and all the 27 LGA coordinators of Mr. Frank Nneji.
