According to him, “Senator Uzodinma has represented Orlu zone for almost 8 years now, and has practically nothing to show for it, except controversy on whether or not he is qualified for the office. We have therefore resolved to mount pressure on Chief Stephen Uwaezuoke to declare for the Orlu senatorial seat and represent us in 2019.

The group’s National Organizing Secretary, Comrade Ikechukwu Diplomacy Duruobishiri, in his contribution, said, compelled by recent developments in the country especially as they concern Orlu zone and the abysmal performance of the present occupant of the seat, who, from all indications has lost focus and derailed from the essential demands of his job, the youths have no option than to look for a more credible, proactive and result oriented bridge builder, who will use his human relations attributes to attract not only federal presence but necessary dividends of democracy to Orlu zone, in the overall interest of the people.Chief Uwaezuoke, an American trained diplomat, who understands what good governance, is all about and how to enhance the interest of Orlu zone should be our next senator”.
It will be recalled that, at several town hall meetings organized by the youths of Orlu zone, they expressed their willingness to mobilize support for credible and reputable individuals with verifiable track record and are passionate about the welfare of the people, irrespective of party affiliation.
According to them, the era of allowing mediocres, looters, 419ners and people of questionable background to represent Orlu zone at any level is over. Money will longer be an issue because we will consult with political parties, make necessary input towards the purchase of nomination forms for any person found worthy to represent the people at any level of governance because, we have vowed to take our destiny in our hands, bear any burden, oppose any foe, support and liaise with friends and people of like mind to ensure the realization of our collective interest”.
