The National Association of Imo State Students NAISS has frowned at an alleged rumour making rounds that the association has endorsed the gubernatorial aspiration of Chief Barr. Aloysius Osuji of the MAJA party.
In a release signed by the President, Comrade Anyaoha Tochi C., the students body affirms that the masterminds of the rumour must have collected money from the aspirant and as such, do not represent the interest of the union.
Comrade Anyaoha stressed that those constituting nuisance at NAISS must surely face the consequences adding that all student under the body should note that they have not and do not intend endorsing anybody. Rather, he noted that they intend conducting a debate for those that will pass their various part primaries on the role they will play in the life of Imo students.
The NAISS President made it clear that any aspirant who must attract their attention has to table his or her political, economical, cultural and social development blueprint of Imo and such person must be ready to carry out the promises to the letter.
He finally call on all Imo state students to dismiss the rumour as it was a handwork of mischief makers.
