Imo deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon Ugonna Ozuruigbo has reminded those in authority that the only way to print their names on sands of time was to serve their people well while in office.
The deputy speaker who represents Nwangele State Constituency in the Imo House of Assembly gave the charge while presiding over a valedictory session of the House in honour of late Hon. Barr. Nicholas Chidi Onwuama who represented Oke Uvuru now in Aboh Mbaise, Imo state during the Second Republic.
Rt. Hon. Ozuruigbo while reading the message of the speaker, Rt. Hon. Acho Ihim during the valedictory session recalled the giant strides of the departed ex-Imo lawmaker, and therefore charged those who find themselves in public offices to leave behind legacies for which they would be remembered even when they were no more.
