It was jubilation galore recently at the home town of state Commissioner for Trade and Investment Engr. Emma Ojinere in Umuchieze Ihitteafo Ukwu Ekwerazu Ahiazu Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo state as he returns home a week after the state Governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha endorsed him as his candidate for Owerri zone senatorial seat come 2019 election.
Engr. Ojinere with leaders of All Progressive Congress, APC men youths marched from his market square down to his resident and youths were chanting solidarity songs.
Among the APC leaders that were present during the ceremony are the T.C chairman of Ahiazu Mbaise L.G.A Chief Edmund Enwereji, APC LG chairman, Hon Ifeanyi Eke, Mrs. Grace Ugo, Chief Hon Okey Ezem, Chris Okechukwu among others.
Speaking during the ceremony Engr. Ojinere thanked the people of Ahiazu for such a wonderful reception shortly after the Governor endorse him for Senate position come 2019 election and the state governor for finding him worthy to represent the people of Owerri zone at the Red chamber.
Ojinere made it clear that the reception has proved to him and whole world that the people of Ahiazu are solidly behind him and promised to used his position to transform Owerri. Zone into mega city if elected come 2019.
The Ahiazu Mbaise Born politician dazzled the large crowd with lots of workable and realizable ideas that will change the fortunes of Owerri zone by creating economic empowerment programmes and to provide dividends of democracy to the grass root and make them to understand that he has used his position as commissioner to attract a lot of developmental projects in Ahiazu Mbaise.
Also speaking the T.C chairman of Ahiazu Hon Edmund Enwereji expressed confidence that Engr. Ojinere will represent the people of Owerri zone well at Red Chamber and stressed the need for the people of Owerri zone to support him.
The L.G.A Chairman of APC, Hon. Ifeanyi Eke said that Engr. Ojinere is qualified and has the pedigree to represent them at the Senate and assured him maximum support of the party.
