The people of Njaba Local Government Area have been assured of a good, qualitative and effective representation in the Imo State House of Assembly come 2019.
A United State based pharmacist and a philanthropist per excellence, Chief Dr Perry Ekwunazu gave the assurance when he indicated interest to represent people in the state Assembly he stated he was the to the clarion call of his people to be their representative, Njaba State Constituency.
Speaking to Journalists in his home town Amiyi- Akah, Njaba LGA, Dr Ekwunazu opined that his motivation is the dire need of his constituents adding, that he will use his time and resources to serve his people as the incumbent law maker has not been representing them well hence, the need for a change for good representation as the people have lost total confidence and equally shown resentment towards the law maker representing them.
The Njaba born pharmacist cum politician assured that if given the opportunity to represent them, he will ensure that the needs of the people are met as his policy will be people oriented, stressed that he will be conducting town hall meetings where he will be interacting with them and know their problems and as well, open a Constituency office as he will run an open door policy.
Still Speaking, he maintained that Health is paramount in this race as he will use his Foundation to reach out to the people to ensure that they stay healthy because a healthy community is a happy community the emphasized that with proper legislation, both the State, Federal and his personal resources will be channeled to the right quarters and will equally attract government presence in his constituency assuring them that he will not disappoint them but will rather make them proud.
The Aspirant however, noted that the youths should be given an enabling environment and promised to help the people get soft loans to help themselves an d stressed that education should be encouraged as it is a key to success and urged Imo people to support the state government as he has reformed and touched every facet of the state.
