As preparations ahead of the awaited 2019 Federal House of Representatives’ election in Nigeria gathers momentum, a Frontline aspirant for the seat of Okigwe-South (Ihite/Uboma/Obowo/Ehime-Mbano) federal constituency at the National Assembly, Engr. Emenike Ndubuisi, on Thursday, last week, formally made his intention to run the election known to the executives of the All Progressive Congress, APC in his Ikpe/Nsu ward, Ehime-Mbano LGA of Imo state.
Addressing the Ikpe/Nsu ward excos during the occasion, Engr. Ndubuisi said that, he is highly impressed to familiarize himself with his people, as well as, inform them of his desire to contest the 2019 National Assembly elections for the seat of Okigwe-South federal constituency in Imo state, Nigeria.
According to Ndubuisi,charity begins from home, adding that, the urgent need to intimating people of his ward, Ikpe/Nsu of his interest to contest for soul of Okigwe-South federal constituency at the green-chamber National Assembly,was the essences of the parley with the APC ward executives in Ikpe/Nsu ward of Ehime-Mbano LGA of the state.
The president of Ndubuisi Emenike Foundation,humanitarian organisation in Imo state, further stated that, there is always reward for hardwork, even as he, maintained that, he will ensure that, people of his ward be given priority-attention in the scheme of things,if given the opportunity and support to serve the people of Okigwe-South federal constituency,come,2019.
Earlier in his remarks, the Acting chairman of APC in Ehime-Mbano LGA, Nze I.C. Egbe, who appreciated the goodwill and kind dispositions of Engr. Ndubuisi, however, assured of support of the entire people of Ehime-Mbano LGA for his National Assembly aspiration.
The Ehime-Mbano APC chairman, who also saluted the aspirant’s courage, said that, people of the area should drum support for the illustrious son of Ehime-Mbano LGA in the realisation of his noble course.
Highlight of the occasion was the cash-donation made by the aspirant for the sustainability of the APC in Ikpe/Nsu ward, Ehime-Mbano LGA of the state.
