The Transition Committee Chairman for Oru-West Local Government Area of Imo State Hon. Obinna Okoro has commended the governor of Imo State Owelle Rochas Okorocha for his laudable projects in the State and Africa at large.
Speaking to Newsmen in Owerri, the Oru-West T.C Chairman Hon. Okoro said, “In the history of Imo State, no Governor has achieved what Owelle have done within a space of few years. Today Imo people enjoy free and qualitative education from primary to tertiary level. Also the empowerment of Imo youths and women as well as the massive employment to our people across the 305 wards in Imo State is something every Imolite should be happy about”.
In another development, the T.C Chairman Hon. Okoro maintained that the good legacies of Owelle Okorocha can never be forgotten in Imo State in the future.
“The Rochas Foundation College of Africa with five persons from the fifty five African Countries as well as the Rochas Foundation College with over 15,000 students across Nigeria is also something every Nigerian have to commend his Excellency Rochas Okorocha for such a large scope of selfless service to humanity. An impact aimed to better the lives of people and out-society at large” he said.
He thanked Governor Okorocha for the opportunity given to him to serve and assured of effective and service delivery, adding that, the rural road project leaddership given to the people of Oru-West-by the governor is in progress and nearing completion. He assured of the maximum support of the good people of Oru-West to the Rescue Mission government
