The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ikeduru local government area of Imo State chapter is in serious crisis over the balance of a contract awarded to the party by the Rescue Mission government led by Owelle Rochas Anayo Okorocha via Engr. Obinna Nshirim when he was the Transition Committee chairman of the council.
According to the chairman of the party, Hon. Isaac Onuekwusi in a recent chat with Nigeria Newspoint, Engr. Obinna Nshirim wanted to brew crisis in the party because other members of the party are demanding for the return of the balance of the contract awarded to them by the state government which is remaining the sum of N10 million to close deal.
Mr. Onuekwusi stated that they have been demanding for the remaining balance to paid since the expiration of the initial payment but Engr. Nshirim has refused to return the said balance rather he resort to calling some group of people in order to divide the house and also create confusion in their mist.
He said that last Tuesday, being the 13th March 2018, Engr. Nshirim purportedly called an unofficial meeting in the house of one of the leaders of APC in Ikeduru by name Mr. Charles Amadi to nurture a group to rise against the leadership of the party at their local setting.
The Ikeduru APC’s chairman added that he was informed that Engr. Nshirim and Mr Amadi are attempting to put confusion in the party because Engr. Nshirim was not granted the allowed appointment as a commissioner in the recent government the member of the party.
He maintained that since then Engr. Nshirim and Mr. Amadi are working assiduously to destablished their party by always putting asunders in the system which they have vowed to unseat the executives.
Hon. Onuekwusi further said that the two duos, that’s (Engr. Nshirim and Mr Amadi) are plotting to stop the team of APC from Abuja from having access to them for further verification exercise the party stating that he is a true democrat working for all.
