Students of the faculty of law, Imo State University, Owerri have cried to the state government and other civil society organizations to come to their aid over what they described as wicked extortion going on in the faculty ahead of 2019 law school admission.
Some of the students who spoke on the condition of anonymity accused the leadership of the faculty for masterminding such abnormal act, adding that serious lobbing is ongoing, even as they said such illegal action will prevent qualified final year students from going to Nigeria law school.
They also alleged that the leadership of the faculty has adopted who it tagged elimination method to deliberately fail students in order to depose the law school forms.
This Newspaper gathered on strong authority that part of plans to deny qualified final year students from going to school was by failing them in some compulsory law courses.
Even as they called on the school authority to intervene urgently.
However, when our correspondent contacted the Dean of law, IMSU, for comments till phone rang without response.
