A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Isiala Mbano Local Government Area, Chief Paschal Okebaram has reaffirmed his belief in the governorship aspiration of Ugwumba Uche Nwosu with a donation of half a million naira to support the Chief of Staff’s purchase of party nomination for the 2019 elections.
Making the donation at the Isiala Mbano Council Headquarters, Umuelemai when the Believe Movement Train stormed the area, Okebaram who is also the chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, Imo State Branch, assured that the Believe Movement International, Isiala Mbano Chapter would be stronger than other LGAs.
Chief Okebaram who led other directors of Believe Movement in Isiala Mbano LGA to receive the national coordinator of Believe, Prince Lawrence Achilihu who came in the company of other national directors including the General Manager, Owerri Capital Development Authority, OCDA, Comrade Jeff Nwoha noted that Ugwumba Nwosu as a youth has empowered so many Imo youths and has contributed immensely to the successes recorded by the Rescue Mission Government of Owelle Rochas Okorocha in Imo State aside what he described as the Chief of Staff’s exemplary humility and diligence to duty. Okebaram maintained that Nwosu more than any other, would sustain and continue with the programmes and policies of Governor Okorocha after May 29, 2019.
In a separate chat, the NURTW boss, Imo State remarked that Isiala Mbano people were tired of being in opposition hence their decision to support Ugwumba Nwosu, saying that the chief of staff was ordained for the task. He revealed that the people of the area were jostling to join the Believe Movement. Okebaram promised to secure an office accommodation and to sponsor all meetings of Believe Movement in Isiala Mbano, while also hosting the coordinator and his directors in his country home.
Earlier in his speech, the coordinator of Believe Movement International, Prince Achililu who supervised the inauguration of the members of Believe Movement, Isiala Mbano LGA, congratulated them for identifying with Ugwumba Nwosu and reminded them that as pillars of the Movement, they should carry the message to the grassroots. Achililu added that Believe Movement like Rescue Mission believes in God. He charged them to work hard to deliver Ugwumba Nwosu as governor in 2019.
Officials of Isiala Mbano LGA including the Transition Committee Chairman, Hon. James Onyenegho, LGA Secretary, Hon. Chidioke Egejuru, Isiala Mbano APC Chairman, officials of the 12 INEC wards in the LGA among others, were present at the event.
