The Paramount ruler of Obodoukwu Ancient Kingdom, HRH, Eze Edmund A. Dim (Dimagbakwuruibe Mbachu II), in Ideato North LGA of Imo State, has given thumbs up to Chief Uche Umeh for a recent award by the State Command of the Nigeria Police.
Reacting to the honour done to one of his subjects, while fielding questions from newsmen in his palace, Weekend, Eze Dim who described Chief Umeh as a source of pride to Obodoukwu land, said that the Chief Executive Officer, CEO, Uchemec Group of Companies has gladdened his heart.
The monarch who disclosed that he had earlier conferred on Chief Umeh the title of Nwajiugonnaya of Obodoukwu Land, explained that the Police award has further justified Uchemec’s enlistment as a member of his cabinet. He said that Chief Umeh began early in his life to showcase traits of a sincere humanist, hence the resolve of the royal authority to add feather to his cap.
The Dimagbakwuruibe informed that the building of the new Obodoukwu Police station, which attracted the latest award, according to him, was one of the feats that has distinguished Chief Uche Umeh. “He is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased; he has become an Ambassador of no mean repute to this Palace, Obodoukwu, Ideato North and Imo State. I am proud of him and my prayer is that Uche will live long and reap the reward of his love for humanity”
Eze Dim thanked the CP Chris Okey Ezike- led Imo police command for reciprocating the gesture of his subject with such an award he described as well- deserved.
Chief Uche Umeh was honoured by the State Police Command during her 2018 New Year luncheon, Party and Award ceremony held penultimate Saturday at Imo Trade & Investment Centre, Owerri.
Besides the state -of- the -art -Police Station he built in his community, Uchemec also procured a brand new Toyota Sienna, as well as provided quarters for the officers of the Force attached to the new Station. Other prominent indigenes of Obodoukwu land who felicitated with Chief Umeh for the rare feat included; Prince Godstime Dim (Dagama), Barr, Ken Obidegwu, President -General, Nzuko Obodoukwu, Igwe Emma Obiako, traditional ruler, Umume-Obodoukwu community, Sir Noel Okoli, President -General, Obodoukwu Ancient kingdom, Cfttsf Isdore Kennedy Ogbuagu, Mr. Theddeus Igbojionu and Nze O.E Dim.
